Sorry I'm a while getting back to you. The book
For nline workshops I would recommend Workshop on the Web run by Maggie Grey with guest teachers. The projects are varied from 2D to 3D and the techniques are nearly always mixed media which can be applied to many different projects, incorporationg painting, using different new products, machine and hand embroidery etc. It's £15 for the year, I think, for that you get a quarterly online magazine with the workshops which you download to your pc. Each quarter there are about 7 workshops. It's very good and very inspiring! There is also D for Daisy where you can buy Lynda Monk and Carol McFee's books with online classes. I did "Stitching the Textured Surface" last year
