Well hello!
Hope everyone is having a good week and enjoying the sunshine (well when it comes out in between the showers!)
First of all I want to say thank you to Carolyn of Love Stitching Red for this lovely tweety artwork! I won it in her blog giveaway
And thank you too, to Karen at Blueberry Park, as I won this crochet kit on her giveaway as well!!
Get me and all my blog giveaway wins!!! I seriously am not a winner generally so I can't tell you how pleased I am feeling with all these goodies.
I also want to say a big thank you to Leirka of Sweet Lovely Afternoon for this sweet award, my second one, yay!
I promise to award it as the award itself states, to some other bloggers v soon in another post!
And so to a few teaser pics for you.......
some new fabric bought to make some simple totes for the 'Makey Do'. Yummy and fresh!
Some fab thrifted items picked up recently, a gorgeous table cloth with such beautiful little flowers and lace/crochet edging; beautiful bundles of lace, which I have already used some of on the tote bags; a fab lace runner which will look perfect displaying my items at fairs and a fab old wallet which I hope to embellish soon.
my lovely thrifted chest of drawers, I need these for some extra storage in my workroom! I'm looking at giving them a clean up - bit of a sand down and a lick of paint, giving it a new lease of life!
And I couldn't go without you seeing my gorgeous vintage fabric, what utterly lovely patterns and colours, I cannot wait to get creative with these!
back soon with some pics of works in progress and finished bits too. Enjoy your week ;0 x
